Flexible Plans for Agile Teams 

A Viima board is the “canvas” where all the ideation in Viima happens in. An organization may have just one board to gather, store and develop the ideas or use multiple Viima boards to manage and organize more versatile ideation activities.

When you sign up for Viima, you will automatically start with a 14-day free trial of our Pro plan so that you can experience the full power of the platform for yourself.

Once your trial expires, you will automatically be downgraded to our Free plan, and Pro features will be disabled from your boards. This way, you don't need to input your credit card at any point during the process if you don't want to upgrade.

If you've exceeded the limits of the Free plan during your trial, your plan will be temporarily locked and you will need to remove enough data (boards or users) to get you back within the limits of the Free plan, or alternatively, upgrade to one of our paid plans.

We typically recommend our Free plan if you have less than 10 users and just want to get started. The Free plan provides you with most of the tools you need to get started in collecting and managing ideas systematically.

However, when you go beyond 10 users and start to get more ideas, or you need more fine-grained control over the ideation or innovation process, you should look beyond the Free plan. For example our evaluation feature is extremely useful for prioritizing ideas, and the support for multiple boards makes Viima incredibly flexible. Thus, if you are a small or medium organization and are planning to take  innovation seriously, you want to take a look at our Basic and Pro plans. With them, you have access to most features and also get flexibility to purchase only the number of user licenses you actually need.

For larger organizations, our Advanced  plan is likely to be the best fit. As the number of user licenses rises, customers obviously want predictable fixed-term pricing, which our Advanced plan offers at a highly affordable price. This enables you to, for example, run large-scale ideation campaigns without having to worry about your budget being exceeded. The best ideas often come from unexpected places, so why limit your innovation potential?

Our plans are primarily charged via credit card with all major card brands being supported.

For larger purchases in our Advanced plan, it is also possible to use other forms of payment, such as via invoice.

We do understand than in many large organizations, 14 days can seem like a very short time.

However, we've found that such deadlines can often be very helpful for getting even the biggest organizations to move quickly, which again is key to helping you succeed in making more innovation happen.

So, our advice is to prepare to make the most out of the situation and thus to use that 14-day deadline to your advantage!

In short, we want everyone to be able to experience the full power Viima has to offer. That's why we're providing everyone with a free trial of our paid plans. Once that ends, our Free Plan is a great way to get started on your innovation journey if you don't currently have a budget for a platform like this.

The way we see it, innovation is one of, if not the, best ways to make meaningful progress for our society.

Historically, organizations that have succeeded in innovation are actually quite few and far between, and we want to help change that by democratizing the tools and the knowledge needed to help thousands of new organizations succeed in it.

We do take that mission seriously and are continuously looking for ways to further that goal. Providing great software for free is naturally a good way to do just that.

2) When people try Viima, the software sells itself.
It's no secret that there are quite a few different ways that you can collect and manage ideas, ranging from simple spreadsheets to Sharepoint forms and all the way to heavy-duty enterprise innovation management systems.

Given the wide range of options, people might often have a hard time figuring out what the best option for them is.

We're very confident that in most cases, Viima is the best tool for job, and our track record speaks for itself. Whenever people try Viima in practice, they're very likely to end up choosing to work with us.

Our software has, after all, been rated as the best in the world by customers for four years in a row, and according to Gartner, we've also become the most widely used innovation management software in the world.

But, we still need to have a sustainable business, so we unfortunately can't offer all of that in our Free plan, but still want to give everyone an opportunity to witness the full power of our platform for themselves. 

In the long run, our approach has proven to work well. Maybe there is such a thing as karma after all?

This is quite a common situation for many organizations but there's no need to worry, we've got you covered.

For short one-off needs, you can buy our Basic Monthly plan, which starts at $79/month directly from within the app. As you're on a monthly contract, no long term commitments are necessary, and you have the flexility to purchase additional licenses only when you need those.

The downside is that the Monthly plan is a bit more expensive per user than our annual plans. So if you're like most of our customers, when you start using Viima, you'll be constantly surprised about all the situations where Viima can help you drive a lot more value than you might have initially thought. In this case, you'll probably want to upgrade to an annual plan to keep your costs down.

If, for some reason, you have very specific needs (e.g. short large scale campaign) and don't want an annual contract, we do offer plans for such situations too. For more information, please contact us.

Our paid plans are generally speaking annual and billed in advance.

Basic and Pro plans include a fixed number of user licenses in the base fee for the plan. If you exceed that figure, additional licenses will be purchased for each unique active user in your organization according to the terms of your plan. Each user account that is active on at least one of the boards in your organization counts as an active user.

Our Basic plan is also available on a monthly basis. It works exactly the same way as the annual plan, just with a monthly contract and slightly higher price per user.

To avoid exceeding your user limits, you can simply deactivate the users you no longer wish to have access to the system. Please note that the users must be removed from all boards managed by your organization before they release the user license.
